This is kind of hard for me to put this goal as my first goal. I’ve never been very into the idea of being a mom but it is something I am starting to think more and more about. As a 27 year old woman, I have never experienced baby hunger. Even when I was a child playing house, I was always the business lady who would be the breadwinner. I’d make my younger sister be the husband and stay home to take care of the kids. Now that I’m an adult. I do want at least one kid. Who knows when that will be. We are just waiting to see what happens. I’m always daydreaming about doing fun activities as a family.

Stephen and I have been budgeting the past year. Like actual budgeting. We plan out all our money coming in for the month and track everything we spend. Honestly, it is a lot less tedious than we though it would be. Right now we are saving for new appliances and updated doors and windows for the main floor of the house. After that, we plan to put any extra money towards our mortgage each month. We want to pay it off in about 10 years. That would provide us with so much financial freedom.

3. QUIT MY 9-5 JOB

Working in a call center for life is not the place for me. This is partly why I wanted to start budgeting. In order for me to be able to stay home with kids one day, we needed to know our finances. I hope to be able to make my business successful enough to quit my job. We all dream about quitting our 9-5 job at least some days.

The active lifestyle I have been living the past 3 years has really brought about so much change and personal development. Getting off my butt and doing something that benefits my body and mind has been huge. I feel like I have been on a personal development journey since I started exercising. I always want to keep fitness a part of my life because only 30 minutes a day has brought me huge success. I’m not even talking about the 20 or so pounds I lost. That is the least important reason why I love exercise.

I’m quickly learning that to succeed in business, you have to try. After that, you have to keep working and doing all the things! I’m not sure that I will even recognize success once I have it. Right now, I am setting up the habits of success. I still have so much to learn but I am excited to see what is in store for me even 6 months down the road.
