Back before I was a Central Utah Videographer I lived in Salt Lake as a fresh un-knowledgeable wannabe videographer. I met Colby and Madisen because she is best friends with our friend’s sister. They booked a wedding highlight film with me back in 2015 and had also won a Love Story video that same year as well. Years later and I still feel like I know them pretty well and we have kept in contact through Facebook and Instagram. They have the most darling little boy named Hayes.
Now that I live in Ephraim I am trying to become better known for videography in the Sanpete area. I asked on Instagram if there was anyone available for a little mini session for a 1 minute video and Madisen responded saying she would be in town that weekend. I immediately responded telling her how much I would love to film a video with her and Colby. I remember how amazing it was to shoot their Love Story and Wedding Day so I was excited to hang out with them again.
We met at Maverik in Ephraim. Right behind the gas station and Co-Op there are a few old cabins that I’m sure have there since the pioneer times. I though it would be cute to use those to our advantage while also mixing in a little bit more modern backgrounds. The funny part about this video is that when we are walking down main street by the Towne Theater I ran into one of the cement planter boxes they have. I totally was not paying attention to where I was walking because I was so focused on the shot.
Click the Colby and Madisen tag below to see what other blog posts I have done on them. I hope to do even more videos for them in the future. Since the filming of this video they welcomed their second son, Dahson.
